Isn’t it always the way?

I slept in this morning.

I think I got myself all excited last night about doing the program again that I just couldn’t sleep – I could have gone for a 1 hour walk with no problems.

Maybe that’s what I should have done 🙂

And then of course I slept in this morning! Rushed to get to work, didn’t do the measurements or photos that I had planned.

Tonight I will do all the measurements and I will also take my before photos. In shorts. It’s gonna be freezing.

Darn! Spooks just started!

Ok, so Spooks has just started and I just know I am going to be distracted.

That’s fine. This is important for me to do because I just made a decision today and I will follow through with it because I am going to make it as public as my little blog will get.

In 2007 I went on the Michael Thurman 6 week body makeover program & it was amazing! I was close to 70kg and lost 6 kilos! I didn’t even stick to the eating side of the program all that thoroughly and barely did the exercise part at all! But I cannot complain about the results I got!

So now – it is May 18 2009 I am going to do it again!

I am kind of excited because I will track my progress via this blog & try to update each day – not just with boring ‘I ate this, I ate that’ blah blah bullshit. Along with pracical information that I need to track eg: I ate a Mars bar, I also want to track how I am feeling, what emotional effects there are, what it will feel like to get up early in the morning and go for a walk/run and what techniques I will employ to make this happen.

It is important to me to understand my psychology behind this plan because I will be starting a lot of new things soon and I want to understand what motivates me, what de-motivates me & what methods, nlp techniques and so on are the ones that work to keep me going.

My plan is:

  • To do the eating program as closely as possible without becoming a non-eating with other people freak (but this does include restricting salt, oil, dairy & sugar as far as possible);
  • To do the exercise part of the program – but also include hooping,yoga & dancing;
  • To upload my before picture tomorrow perhaps with a newspaper for the date like they do on that other exercisey program thing and also my current measurements;
  • My goal is to be fit! Lose 5 kilos and weigh about 60kg’s & to feel fabulous and have a bit of a personal development adventure as well!
